In the beautiful and blissful mountains of Stevenson, WA, the morning brought a clear sky day where two people would exchange vows with each other to live a life together in endless love, laughter, and friendship. This was the day Logan and John Herrero would be united in matrimony on the 3rd day of July 2021.

In the bridal suite, Logan gazed lovingly at the handwritten vows she prepared to share with John, speaking greatly on how he has inspired her, supported her, guided her, and cherished her. She was excited to stand with him in front of friends and family and promise her undying love to the only man she wanted in this crazy beautiful world. Her elegant wedding gown flowed from her as she stared out the windows of the room, looking forward to her new future with John. Logan, with her caring bridesmaids and friends, celebrated the morning with a champagne toast, smiles adorning the faces of an already exciting day.

In another area of the event space, John was steadily preparing himself. He adjusted his light blue tie pairing well with his blue suit and white boutonniere that would match his bride’s. He wanted to look his absolute best for his future wife and partner of 6 years, the memories leading up to this moment brought him joy and excitement. He nervously went through the wedding vows he wrote for Logan, words could now describe his love for her, even the thought of her smile filled his life with immense joy.

The venue was something out of a fairytale. The beautiful Wind Mountain Ranch was surrounded by the Cascade Mountains and huddled next to the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge. The serene and spacious ranch was the perfect backdrop for an incredible day of love. The seating was set up and decorated with blue and white flowers to match the bride and groom. The arbor was set nicely by a calm pond, the mountain range a backdrop of majestic Pacific Northwest beauty. With the seats was one spot reserved for a special someone deeply missed, smiling happily in a golden framed photo.

The ceremony began as the bride and groom party walked down the aisle, their friends and family smiling from ear to ear at being a part of this memorable day at this beautiful venue. The bride and groom stared lovingly into each other’s eyes as they read their vows. Reminiscing from their first introduction in college at NAU where they first fell in love with promises of continuing to love each other for who they are and who they will become together as one. The couple tied the knot (literally) and celebrated the start of their union with their first kiss as husband and wife.

As the sun started to set and the golden hour blanketed the venue, John and Logan found a moment to escape from the party and enjoy each other, walking along the dirt road of the property guided by the white picket fence smiling, laughing, stealing a kiss of two and sharing a drink as a new couple. Even with such an amazing day, nothing could take their eyes away from each other.

The celebration continued as they joined the rest of the guests at the reception. Loved ones were toasting praises to the newlyweds, Logan and John cut the wedding cake together, and shared their first dance together as Mr. and Mrs. Herrero shorty before the rest of the party joined in.

As the beautiful night came to a close, John and Logan were sent off in a wave of bubbles and applause for the future they would start together.

Once upon a time in the beautiful hills of the Lake Oswego Vineyards, Autumn and Dustin were preparing for a ceremony to promise their love and unity in front of their closest friends, family, and the Lord. They would love one another and spend eternity together on this fall day, October 9th, 2021.

In the bridal suite, Autumn was an image of beauty. Her golden hair shimmered from the light radiating through the windows, her white dress fitted just for her with a matching veil finished with her rustic hay and flower bouquet. She looked as if she stepped out of a field of dreams. The bridal party was dressed in shades of rose gold with rustic hay bouquets to complement.

Dustin was a dashing gentleman with extraordinarily deep blue eyes, focused on the future he would be spending with Autumn. Dustin was donning a suave grey suit while his groomsmen sported matching suspenders and bow ties. He declared a promise to Autumn, to never take her for granted, to give her the life she deserved, and to love her forever for eternity. He expressed his eagerness to spend the rest of his life with his best friend and build a loving home and family with her.

‍

Friends and family gathered at the ceremony as they waited excitedly with Dustin for the bride to walk down the aisle. As the sound of piano keys filled the air, Autumn glided down the aisle, her arm linked with her nervous father who grasped his daughter’s hand. He looked upon his beautiful daughter, afraid to let her go, as a father is at this moment, but also jovial that Dustin would be another man in Autumn’s life who would love her, protect her, and cherish her as much as he did.

‍

With promises to love each other in riches or rags, in sickness and in health, the two surrender to each other in front of the Lord. Autumn and Dustin sealed their love with their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Heathman. Loved ones cheered on as the two walked back down the aisle and off to share a moment of appreciation and love for each other. The couple, escaping off to the vineyards together, rejoiced and shared a kiss in this heavenly moment as the sun set behind them.

The delighted couple returned in a grand entrance to the reception with an incredible sparkling firework fountain display. Toasts and speeches were presented to Dustin and Autumn regarding the perfect compatibility to one another and eagerness to watch their future family grow together.

Piano keys once again filled the space as Dustin and Autumn took to the floor for their first dance together. Hand in hand they swayed and spun, smiling and refusing to take their eyes off each other. As the music receded, they shared another kiss as sparks flew behind them once more in this magical moment. Another heartfelt moment followed suit, as Dustin shared a dance with his mother, and Autumn with her father, before guests and friends joined the dance floor for a night of fun and memories.

As the night came to an end, Dustin and Autumn took off together hand in hand in a light and fireworks send off, ready to start their new life together as one.

On October 8th, 2021, I traveled to the coastal town of Brookings, Oregon to provide videography services for Patti and Tori’s elopement ceremony. The Oregon coast offers breathtaking, cinematic views that serve as the perfect backdrop to an intimate celebration of love between two individuals. Brookings in particular, with its pristine, bright-blue waters and stunning rock formations, functions seamlessly as an unforgettable destination for a private coastal wedding. There is an inherent intimacy that can be found in these natural scenes, complementing the special, one-of-a-kind union between Patti and Tori.

Traditionally, eloping meant “to run away secretly with the intention of getting married, usually without parental consent.” This meaning retains some truth–there is something very special and romantic about elopement; keeping the ceremony between yourself and your spouse is like having an inside joke or secret that no one else could possibly understand or share in the same way. However, destination elopements such as Patti and Tori’s aren’t about secrets or jokes, but rather, they are about escaping the chaos of everyday life to truly think and reflect on their love for one another.

When it came to creating this video for our eloping couple, I wanted to highlight how beautifully the natural backdrop of Brookings complemented the heartfelt vows shared between Patti and Tori. We had them record a card-reading, which means that one person would read the other’s vow as if it were a love letter sent from miles away. This choice in particular proved to be very cinematic as I was able to layer their readings over drone shots of waves gently crashing up against the shore, in addition to both interior and exterior shots of the cozy wooden A-frame, which added to the overall natural and homely atmosphere of the video. As they read these cards in the beginning of the video, Patti and Tori stand out as two separate individuals. But once they converge into one-another’s worlds, so to speak, the vows become direct and we see shots of the two joined together in both physical and emotional presence.

While a traditional wedding can be a great way to bring friends and family from two distinct worlds together to celebrate, a destination elopement offers a truly unique experience that is not only romantic and intimate, but also far more affordable. When it is only the two of you, the world is your oyster, and you don’t have to worry about the logistics of getting everyone to the right place at the right time. I have come up with excellent elopement videography results, particularly because it welcomes so much creative freedom, and extra attention can be paid to both the calm, natural surroundings and the couple themselves.

On a beautiful fall afternoon in Lake Oswego, Jillian and Elliot were preparing to start a new chapter of their love story together. The event was set in a beautiful home, foreshadowing a future they would be building together. It would be the 21st of August 2021, that the two would become one..

‍

Jillian was being pampered and painted into a beautiful bride, a work of art on the canvas on this beautiful day. Much detail was being put into her makeup and hair as this would be a day she would never forget. Jillian and her bridesmaid celebrated together with a bottle of champagne and a toast to the start of a new day. 

‍

In the groom’s suite, the men were treated to a gift of scotch whiskey and personalized hunting knives engraved with this special date. Elliot readily dressed in a black suit with silver cufflinks, dressing to impress his bride and remember this moment the two of them would share together. Elliot made his way to the balcony, waiting to see his bride in all of her beauty for the first time in her wedding dress. 

‍

Jillian gracefully joined him on the balcony, standing back to back with him, both smiling wide and excited to see each other's reaction. As the two spun to look at each other, both were overcome with so much joy and love, all they could do was smile and look at each other. Words could not describe the overwhelming happiness, and instead held one another and shared a kiss. 

‍

Meanwhile the guests were finding their seats surrounded by a stunning garden leading up to a beautifully decorated altar. In the serine calm you could hear the trickling of a koi pond and the soft rustling of trees and plants. The reception area was set up with intimate round tables each with a gorgeous floral vase all under a net of bistro lights. As lovely harp music filled the air, the wedding party made their way down the aisle. As the last couple made their way to the altar, the crowd rose as Jillian made her entrance, escorted by her father. The amount of love for Jillian and Elliot was insurmountable, as many were fighting to hold back tears of joy. 

‍

In front of loved ones, Elliot promised Jillian to love her for who she is now and who she will become. He promised to encourage her to follow her dreams and do all in his power to make them a reality. Jillian promised Elliot to put their partnership first, and to also love, support, and encourage him in all his goals. She was ready to travel and discover a new world together with him and grow together as one.

As everyone settled into the reception area, Jillian and Elliot were greeted with applause and cheer as they made their grand entrance and husband and wife. Family gave speeches to the new couple, feeling tremendous pride for Elliot for his determination, servitude, and peaceful demeanor. Both sides of the family welcomed them with loving hearts as they celebrated the joining of two families.

The evening persisted with heartfelt first dances, father-daughter and mother-son dances, and many many memorable photos at the photobooth stand, saved in a book for Jillian and Elliot to remember on this special day. The crowd was having a blast dancing together in celebration as night fell upon the dance floor. Multi colored lights and bass filled the area as the party went on with smiles and laugher.

As the night drew to a close, Jillian and Elliot were sent off in an outstanding fireworks display, making this a day to remember for everyone. The two shared a kiss and headed out to start their new chapter of their love story as husband and wife.

The beautiful story of Lauren and Grant’s wedding day starts in a serene little place in Chehalem Valley called the Water Oasis, settled right on the edge of Newberg, Oregon. The tranquil venue encompassed a variety of ponds and fountains, rose gardens, stunning green lawns, rustic meadows, and natural landscapes; it was an enchanting combination of nature and elegance.

On August 26th in 2022, the blue sky was free from clouds on an incredibly warm summer day in the valley. Lauren was being zipped into her breathtaking wedding dress, the lace sparkling in the sun that peaked through the bridal suite windows curtains. Her freshly curled hair bounced as she made her way to the window and opened the curtains, gazing out at the beautiful window, ready to make an eternal promise to her lover.

‍

Not too far away, also thinking about his soul mate, was Grant buttoning up the collar of his undershirt. He finished adjusting his light pink tie before sliding on his striking blue suit and set out to meet his fiancé.

‍

The two met together in a quiet area covered by shady trees. Back to back they expressed their love and gratitude for each other's and delight in the love they shared as close confidants, reveling in their love and deep connection. Lauren complimented on how Grant was a gift from God and how she was grateful he chose her as his partner for life. As they turned to reveal themselves, Grant dashingly handsome and Lauren glowing with elegance and grace, both were amazed and felt such happiness and love towards each other. They shared this moment together before parting ways one last time until the ceremony.

Lauren met with her mother and father, both already in high emotions to see their wonderful daughter as a heavenly bride. They embraced her lovingly before leaving with her father to prepare for the event.

As the sound of Piano music filled the air, Grant escorted his lovely mother down the aisle, the wedding party following suit. As the keys changed to a soft melody, the crowd stood as Lauren entered the aisle, her father right by her side. As they made their way to the alter, Lauren’s father embraced her one last time before releasing her to Grant.

‍

Grant and Lauren exchanged vows to sacrifice, protect, and service each other’s love. They promised to be vulnerable and open, to be a team and lean on one another through wonderful times and hardships. The two sealed these promises to each other with a kiss, as the minister eagerly pronounced them as Mr. and Mrs. Luebker. As the crowd clapped and cheered, Grant and Lauren skipped hand in hand down the aisle elated with joy.

The newlyweds rushed off to share a moment together as the sun set over the valley. Away from the commotion they embraced lovingly and beaming as they enjoyed this thrilling day they had been looking forward to for so long.

With formalities completed, the bride and groom were ready to start the festivities. The wedding party made a lively entrance with signature struts and dance moves. Lauren and Grant entered just as they left the aisle, skipping hand in hand, ready for a life of fun with each other. The duo shared their first dance together to the harmonious voice of Etta James’ “At Last”. With the help of a fog machine, it was a magical moment of waltzing on a cloud, followed by a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the venue. The reception was a most enjoyable event, guests were dancing, some were out on the lawn enjoying a game of cornhole or tossing a football around.

Night went on as everyone danced and smiled, having a wonderful time on an absolutely joyous occasion. The bouquet was tossed, the music and lights elevated the dance floor, until the night came to a close as the guest excitedly sent off the new Mr. and Mrs. Luebker in a sea of wedding wand ribbons and fireworks.

Once upon a sunlit afternoon in the heart of Clackamas County, a tale of true love unfolded in the idyllic setting of Barn Kestral. Amidst the vibrant green fields and rolling hills, a love story like no other blossomed as Ellie and Brandon prepared to begin their journey as Mr. & Mrs. Peeler on the 20th of August, 2022.
